Here is everything you need to know before attending the Brisbane Garden Expo 2026.

This is is a one-day garden expo open to all plant lovers, from those just starting out to dedicated collectors!

Key Details

The Brisbane Garden Expo 2026 will be held on Saturday, 5th September 2026.

Our gates will be open from 8 am to 4 pm.

We will be at the Rocklea Showgrounds, which is just off the Ipswich Motorway.

Getting There & Parking

Car parking is available for free (subject to availability). Parking is at an oval, so if there has been recent rain, the ground may be soft underfoot, so enclosed shoes or boots are recommended!

Public transport is available nearby, although the closest bus stop is roughly a 20-minute walk from the showgrounds.

Rocklea Showgrounds is wheelchair accessible.

Tickets can be purchased at the gates or online in advance. We recommend buying tickets in advance for a faster entry.

Both card and cash are accepted at the gate.

Adults and Children Over 16: $10

children Under 16: Free

Shopping on the Day

EFTPOS availability varies by stallholder, so we recommend bringing some cash as a backup. An ATM will be available.

Pets & Assistance Dogs

To keep things comfortable for all visitors, stallholders and plants, pets are not permitted on-site.

Accredited Assistance Dogs are permitted.

There are more than 80 garden exhibitors and food trucks participating in the Brisbane Garden Expo 2026.

The Brisbane Garden Expo will run even if it rains, with the exception of extreme weather events as advised by government authorities.

We will post any updates online.

Make the Most of Your Visit

A little bit of planning can help make the most of your visit. Here are some of our favourite tips:

  • Check out our exhibitors and Site Map and plan your route.
  • Bring a trolley or wagon to help transport plants and larger purchases. We will have a plant cloak room where you can leave your plants.
  • Wear comfortable shoes and take your time to explore our exhibitors, find some great products, enjoy a coffee and discover something new.
  • Bring reusable bags to help support the environment.
  • Stay for lunch and enjoy some delicious food from our onsite vendors.
